  • Martin C. Butler is a partner in the firm of Strauss & Troy, a Legal Professional Association, practicing in the firm's northern Kentucky office.

  • Mr. Butler is a 1977 graduate of The Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is a member of the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Kentucky and American bar associations. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Strauss & Troy, is on the Advisory Board of Southbank Fund and has served on the advisory boards of numerous community agencies.

  • Mr. Butler is a native of Covington, Ky., and resides in Edgewood with his wife, Sandy. The couple has four children: Amanda, Emily, Erin and Bryan.

  • Regarding his appointment to the Board of Regents, Mr. Butler said, "I am honored by the opportunity to serve Northern Kentucky University. The University has and will continue to have a tremendous positive influence on the northern Kentucky region and I am excited to participate in its continued growth." Mr. Butler was originally appointed to the Board in 2002.
